My mom had to take my great grandma to the hospital today. She’s having multiple health issues and her doctor advised her to go to the hospital. We are hoping and praying for a quick diagnosis and easy fix so that grandma can come home for Christmas. And if she can’t we’re praying that our family will be fortified with peace and strength as we work out a holiday schedule that doesn’t leave grandma alone in the hospital.
On a brighter note my Environmental Science grade was finally posted and I got an A! This was a class I really struggled with and I am so happy I made it through with an A.

Kevin, the best man in our wedding and our guide on the Superior Hiking Trail, broke his neck and fractured his skull early Saturday morning.
He was leaving a bar in the Elko area and had a couple blocks to walk. A stranger pulled up in a pick-up to pick someone else up. Kevin thought he’d jump on the back and ride a couple blocks to the stop sign ahead and jump off. The driver didn’t stop and took a sharp turn throwing Kevin off the back.
He is at HCMC and it sounds like he’ll be released sometime this week. He is able to move all of his limbs. They are waiting to see how his memory is doing. He isn’t in much pain and he sleeps almost constantly, not because of pain meds but because of the nature of his injury.
We’ll be bringing him and his family dinner on Wednesday whether he’s at home or at the hospital. I think he’s hoping he’ll be home by then. We visited him yesterday but he slept the whole hour we were there, mainly visited with his family.
Keep him in your prayers!
