What do a dolphin, guinea pig and alpaca all have in common???
Nathan. He will be eating them in Peru this December! (I will not.) He called me today, quite excited, after I had sent him a link on the guinea pig delicacy of Peru.

On a typical weeknight (when we don’t have class and are being lazy- probably 2-3 nights a week) Nathan and I get home from work around 5:15-5:30. We spend a half hour or so making dinner and straightening up the kitchen. We dish up dinner and plop down in front of the tv for a few shows. After eating we usually take our plates to the kitchen then proceed to head back to our respective ends on the couch. After a few shows we’ll each head off to do our own thing for an hour or two. This typically includes homework, reading, housework, garage work, etc.
Once we’re ready for bed, usually between 9 and 10pm we head to bed and flick on the tv for an episode or two of Gilmore Girls.
We spend a lot of time in front of the tv. While this doesn’t seem to effect our relationship too much, we decided to make a few changes and try a different routine out.
For the past week we’ve been making an effort to eat at at our (very expensive) dining room table that usually goes unused except for the occasional guest. We’ve actually been really enjoying it. We eat dinner, clean up, and then head to the couch to cuddle while watching our shows. We also have noticed we eat less and talk a bit more. It’s a much more of a relaxed procedure.
As for the bedroom TV, Nathan moved it into the loft Monday night. It is somewhat frustrating because I LOVE to watch an episode of Gilly Girls then roll over and fall asleep and being out in the loft makes this inconvenient. But so far it’s working ok. We’ll watch an episode in the loft (which is very uncomfy- we need a different couch or something!) then head to bed for a little reading. I think it’s something we could eventually get used to.
Anywho, those are the changes we’re making. So far they’ve required some adjustment but overall they’ve produced good results…
This is disgusting and makes me so sad for this woman. What has America come to that someone actually makes it a goal to be the heaviest woman alive. Worse, what kind of people pay to watch a fat woman eat fast food (yes, she runs a website where people pay to watch her eat). Creepy…
