Travel…

I've been thinking about travel and vacations a lot lately, probably because in 10 days I'm going on a last minute trip to Florida with my mom, and Nathan and I are in the midst of trying to book our trip to California to visit Kevin…

I love vacations and travel, I always have. There's nothing like discovering another part of the world that you've never experienced before. Thus far I've only had experiences in the Caribbean and Mexico and various US destinations, but those are still amazing places…

I've decided that for the next 1-2 years I'd like to focus on visiting US destinations that I want to see while I'm young, for example, I want to snowboard in Colorado, I want to visit Hollywood and Disneyland (hopefully the snowboarding and California destinations will be taken care of this winter!), I want to spend a few days in Las Vegas and a few in New York City. Once these destinations are hit up we'll start to focus on Europe and from there we'll focus on the rest of the world.

I want to have stepped foot on all 7 continents by the time I'm 35, that gives me 11 years! I think that's feasible… Guess we'll see how it goes!!!

Anywho, hope everyone's having a good fall, I haven't been updating much on here, I should really work on doing that more!!!

Update, update, update

It's been waaaay to long since I updated this, guess I better get crackin…

Nathan's birthday week was last week, he had a good one :-D

Last Saturday my family came over and I made a bunch of chinese foods… It was fun to have everyone over, it's been waaaay too long!!!

Sunday night we went to Chianti Grill to celebrate his and his mom's birthdays, I love their food, it's so nummy!!! After we went back to our house and had the cheesecake I had made.

On Nathan's actual birthday (9/27) we went to the Melting Pot and had an experience there, the food was good and everything except the fire alarm/strobe light went off right over our table while we were eating, it was soooo annoying!!! We complained and they took $15 off our bill, which was nice.

Friday night was the real fun night :-D We picked Polly up at 7pm and then headed down to Uptown to the Brave New Workshop to watch comedy/satire show that made fun of the corporate work environment, it was hilarious and we went with Nathan's work peeps and since they all work in a corporate environment they really loved it. After all this we proceeded to a few uptown bars and continued to have a grand old time. Late in the night Amanda (nathan's co-worker and boss) called her roommate and he came and picked us up and we all headed back to her place and crashed. In the AM she took us back to our car (which thankfully hadn't been towed, we had been kinda worried cause it was so close to the traffic light- my bad)…

Not much else over the weekend, just chilled at home and recovered from Friday night.

Tonight just chilling at home again :-)

Hope everyone is doing well!!!
