Last night we went to the Acme Comedy Club with Mike and Polly. What a grand time!!!

We met up with them at Polly's place then headed out to Friday's for dinner, it was on ok meal… Then on to the club!!!

It was truly a great time, the 3 comedians did an excellent job, they were all hilarious… Chad Daniels was the headliner and he kept us laughing all night…

Anywho, not much else going on. We watched the movie The Godfather over the weekend, it was really, really good. Tonight I am going to pick up The Godfather II, I am very excited to see it, it's supposed to be even better than The Godfather…

Also started watching Gilmore Girls, I borrowed Season 1 from Jess, I like it so far, almost done with Season 1…

Many people out there are wondering how this great idea came about to make a video on how to use the Popcorn button on a microwave. It all started with a Friday night of making a few (virgin) daiquiris and some popcorn. In my normal way of question the way people use thing, I noticed Amy just haphazardly threw the bag of popcorn she was making into the microwave and hit this all to familiar button known as Popcorn. Without a second guess of the absurdede of what was about to leave my mouth I quickly, in a questioning tone, asked Amy how she knows how to use this Popcorn button. More or less question whether she really knew if she was using it right or merely had hit this button prior and received the desired results of well cooked popcorn. While she did quickly inform me that she did infact know how to properly use this most confusing of buttons she could provide and proof of proper training or instruction. This little story is the seed of the idea that will become HowToUseThePopcornButton.com.

How the idea for HTUTPB.com came about is another great little story which will bring this tale to a close. Amy and I were eating dinner at the local Arby's prior to our plans of going to see Balls of Fury. While eating I was telling Amy of a great little online video clip I had watched earlier in the day about how to install a sticker on the back of a windshield. The description of the video alone seems to indicate the value of the information provided. By the close of the story Amy had the greatest idea ever. Produce a video on how to use the popcorn button of a microwave and distribute it on the web. Then to augment the whole popcorn button thing we would send out free apparel buttons relating to the video amp; corresponding web site. Before we knew it we were skipping the movie and starting to gather supplies for shooting our first video to be distributed.

Sorry haven't really updated much this week, I'm fighting a pretty nasty cold and it is noooo fun!!!

Had a fantastic weekend!!! Went out to Chili's on Friday night then we swung by the rents and chilled for a bit… Saturday we relaxed at home then got ready and went to Fogo de Chao, which I wrote a review on below this post… For our anniversary Nathan bought us a new fan for our bedroom, which we are currently argueing about, lol, I like the breeze mode because it's quieter, he likes the low mode, but the low mode is to loud for me. So now we have to decide if he can live with the breeze mode, cause I cannot live with the low mode, and if he can't we need to exchange it, so much drama, lol… He also bought me a shirt from Express and!!! He paid for my ears to get double pierced, which I love!!! Thanks baby, you're the best!!!

Sunday we ran some errands and I went over to my grandpa's for lunch and to visit the Chicago people, the Chicago people are lifelong friends of my grandpa's and they come up to visit every Labor Day weekend and have done so for 30+ years, basically since my grandpa moved from Chicago to Minnesota. It was fun seeing them and hearing about what's going on with their lives…

Monday was great!!! It was so nice to have a day off work and so we met up with Mike and Polly and headed down to the last day of the Great Minnesota Get Together, the State Fair of course!!! We ate and ate and ate a ton of food between the 4 of us, it was so fun. I think we walked about 6 miles too, lol, we walked through pretty much the whole fair. Did lots of people watching and got lots of free samples and fun stuff…

Tonight I think we're going to go pick up Nathan's birthday present from me, a 22 pistol, he's so excited!!! It'll be a good investment for him because he'll save soooooo much moola on ammo…

Anywho, not much else going on. Jess and I are doing lunch on Saturday, that's about it…
