So life has been so insanely busy lately!!! I can't believe that Jessica's wedding is only like 2.5 weeks away, so crazy how quickly it's come!!!! It was just yesterday that they were engaged and we threw them their little engagement party… CRAZY!!!!

Anywho, Jessica and Tyler's shower on 4/20 went fantastically well!!! Polly and I made soooo much food and it was all soooo delicious!!! Polly was such an absolute blessing, I could not have done it without her!!!

This past Friday we went out with some of Nathan's work friends, it was a pretty good time. We met up with them at Ken's place in uptown, then headed downtown for some nightlife fun!!! It was a great night, ended up not getting home till Saturday morning at 5am, oops, lol.

Saturday afternoon was my grandpa's wedding. It went well. It's really weird though, him being married, I am so happy that he's happy but it's different…

After the wedding Nathan and I went to the church and heard the band play the wedding processional for Jessica's wedding, it was AMAZING!!! It's going to be so awesome. After Nathan and I headed over to Jessica's and helped carry in her gifts to her place and she showed Nathan around… Oh yea, Thursday night we moved Jessica in to her new place!!! It's totally awesome and is so perfect for her and Tyler, they really really love it!!!

Sunday afternoon I went to another shower for Jess, this one her mom threw, it was a great time. Her mom's boyfriend's place is super, super nice!!! But yeah, the shower went well, except that I forgot I was supposed to bring the games, but we got it taken care of before everyone got there

After the shower Polly, Jess, and I went back to Jess' place and she had finished unpacking!!! She stayed up till 4am to do it all and it looked so great!!! Their place is awesome…

Anywho, checked my email and Kristie asked me to be a bridesmaid in her wedding!!! I am so excited, it will be so great!!! I love being in weddings!!! Don't know when her date is yet, but it'll be fine, whenever it is!

So this week has been kind of stressful. We are throwing Jessica and Tyler a couple's shower on Friday and I have been spending every night this week cleaning the house, grocery shopping, and getting tables set up and food made.

I'm so tired and just want to relax!!! While I am excited for the shower and it should be really fun and awesome and it'll have fantastic food, I am kind of excited for Saturday to come…

I hope lots of people come, otherwise we are going to have sooo much leftover food…

Back during Thanksgiving weekend I spent a LOT of time on my feet in some newer shoes… My big toes hurt so bad for a week after, no exageration, a whole week my big toes hurt in any type of shoe I wore…

Fast forward a month- my toenail polish had started to wear off and I noticed under my nails were what looked like big blood blisters, covering underneath at least 1/2 of my big toe nail space… I didn't think much of it, just figured it was from all my walking and shopping…

Present day- I did a lot of walking/stumbling on Saturday night and yesterday my left toe was kind of hurting, didn't think much of it, but it was hurting again today. So I took off my shoe and sock to check out my toe. Well about a quarter of the way up my toe there is a horizontal crack across my toe nail that is cracked about 3/4 of the way across my toe. When I pull slightly on it my nail comes up… So DISGUSTING AND PAINFUL!!!! My toe HURTS!!! Plus I am being told that I will probably lose my whole nail and judging by the small amount that's grown since November, I probably won't have a whole toenail back until Christmas time. That is like a death sentence for cute feet during sandal season, this totally sucks… What a horrible thing to happen right when summer is starting up.

I have a Dr appt tonight at 7:45 so I will see what they do/say…

We had a pretty good weekend…

Friday I went and had my nails removed and replaced and got home around 7. We ended up having a snack and watching some tv shows from earlier in the week. We headed out to Gander around 8 to look at handguns for Nathan and he found a couple to think about… After we stopped in at Chipotle around 9, holy cow, it was like a high school cafeteria in there, sooo annoying all the teeners…

Saturday I met up with Jessica and her soon-to-be mother and sister in laws and rode up with them to Jessica's first bridal shower. Tyler's Aunt Colleen threw the shower (Tyler's Dad's sister). It was fun to meet some of Tyler's extended family, they were all so nice. We played some games and had some food and opened gifts.

After the shower I headed home and we packed up and headed up to Stout University in Menomenie, WI to visit Kevin… They were having a Pub Crawl that we participated in. Basically it's an all day thing where you go from bar to bar, then back to Kevin's for a BBQ and then continue on foot to all the local bars… We joined in at the BBQ. Had some brats and chips and a few drinks… Nathan and I hit 6 bars and then I was done, a bunch of them walked back to the house with us… Stacey, Kevin's girl, was soooo nice. She set up an air mattress for us an we crashed…

Sunday got up and headed out to McD's for breakfast then on to our home where I proceeded to crash into bed and sleep till Noon

Sunday afternoon I spent the afternoon watching tv then eventually cleaned the house for the upcoming shower that we are throwing for Jessica and Tyler on Friday, that should be pretty fun.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. I learned a valuable lesson this weekend, don't ever ever drink Wild Turkey again… or mix your liquors, oops.
