Weekend update…

Our weekend was good overall. Jess threw a Partylite party at my mom's house on Friday. It was fun and went pretty well. I bought a new centerpiece for our dining room table.

After everyone left her and I watched One Night With the King a movie that tells the story of Esther. Esther has always been my favorite book of the Bible so I enjoyed watching it. It was good but weird seeing it on screen. There were so many differences and different views, definitely not what I was expecting but still pretty good.

Nathan worked on Saturday so I stayed the night at my mom's house with Jessica (she was dog sitting because my mom was in Vegas). It was kind fun and like the old days. Kacy (my family's little white American Eskimo dog) curled up between us in my mom's bed…

Saturday night we just chilled at home. I made my delicious homemade California Chicken Soup. It was super nummy and served with garlic bread, hmmmm. We curled up and watched the 1954 classic 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea I love that movie. Plus it's kind fun watching Michael Douglas' dad…

Sunday it was a chill at home day. We had some Taco Bell for lunch and did some gun shopping for Nathan's soon to be purchased handgun. I picked my mom up from the airport. Had some mexican for dinner, pretty much it…

Oh yes, Wives was back, and it was a great episode. I freaking love that show!!! I still have never missed an episode :-D I really, really want Carlos and Gaby to get back together but so far, no luck…

Anywho, I should get back to work.

Tonight we have another night at home, we are so boring… Oh well.

Superbowl…

Jessica and Tyler came over last night and we all watched the Superbowl. It was pretty fun, we were definitely dissappointed when the Bears lost though. I was thinking we had a good chance, especially when we scored that first touch down right after starting!!!

We mainly watch the Superbowl for the commercials. With us it's all about how good they get and the food we eat while watching. We had chips, salsa, queso, we had meatballs in Famous Dave's sauce, Nathan made his delicious twice baked potatoes. We had strawberry daiquiri's and tons of coke!!! I made a delicious homemade chocolate cake covered in chocolate, caramel, and pecans.

We had sooo much food!!! It was all sooo good…

My favorite commercials were the bud ones. I loved the rock, paper, scissor one and the serial killer one. We all laughed… The Kevin Federline one was pretty good too. It seems like there's been better years of commercials, but they were still decent.

Tonight Jess and I are going to be searching Walmarts to find candles that match her wedding. She already bought out Apple Valley so we'll continue the search tonight…

Hope everyone had a great weekend, I know we did.
