I had Olivia's baby shower on Saturday. It went super well Well, except for all the icy rain and snow that stopped 3 people from coming, but that's ok…

Jess came over 2 hours early to help me get everything ready, she also picked up the cake on the way, which was so nice with how bad the roads were.

Olivia got a ton of great stuff and clothes, it was pretty fun…

Sunday my mom, sisters, and I went to her sister, Tiffany's, house for her side of the families shower. That went well too, it was kinda funny though because we both served the same foods… Jim and Olivia really are set now though, I don't think there's anything they don't have, which is really great for them because I know they don't have a ton of money.

My mom took them to Babies R Us last week and bought them the bedroom set for the baby, it's gorgeous, I would have picked the same one, I really like it.

Friday night Nathan and I tried out a newer restaurant in Eagan called Ghengis Grill, it's a Mongolian place and you pick all of your ingredients and sauces and then they make it right in front of you, super fun experience.

Last night we met up with Mike and Polly at Taco Bell in Burnsville then headed over to Buck Hill for their 7-close special of $10 lift tickets. It was a pretty good time. Polly and I worked on her carving, she's got the heel side down really well and we were just working on her toe side… Nathan and Mike had a good time hitting the terrain park…

My asthma is pretty bad today, it kinda stinks. I got sick at Tiffany's house yesterday from her pets and then I forgot my inhaler when we went snowboarding so it got pretty bad. I woke up a bunch of times in the middle of the night and had to use my meds… I wish I could be at home in bed today, but that's ok…

Friday night I ordered Olivia's cake for the baby shower on Saturday. It's a jungle theme with a Tinkerbell figurine on it, so cute!!! She's going to love it. I also ordered her corsage, it's a pink rose with daisy's…

Nathan took me out to Chili's for dinner and we went and saw Music amp; Lyrics, which was a great movie. We both laughed a lot and really enjoyed it. Seeing Hugh Grant as a pop star in the 80s was so worth the price of a movie ticket these days (well at least the price of the discount tickets Nathan gets through work).

Saturday Nathan worked again, he's definitely making progress towards getting his new gun! I spent most of the day with my mom helping her pick out tile for her laundry room and getting ready for Samantha's family birthday party that night. She made lasagna and chicken parmigiana and I made bruschetta, which was mucho good… We had a good time over there with all our fam…

Sunday we went to the gun show, it was smaller than I expected but still kind of fun. Mostly redneck types looking at guns and knives… It's kind of funny because I do not mind guns in the least bit, but knives give me the heeby geebies. Nathan can buy as many guns as he wants but I never ever want one of those scary knives in our home. We both had a good laugh about that, cause it's probably the opposite with most people…

I finished my 6 seasons of Sex and the City yesterday. I am so sad it's over but I LOVE that tv show and the ending for everyone was so good. I feel like they're really my friends… which is stupid I know, but that's what happens when you spend hours upon hours with tv characters, lol…

Wives was great last night, I love that show!!!

Anywho, not much else going on here.

Tonight Jessica is coming over and we are going to get ready for the shower on Saturday.

Our Valentine's Day was great! I came home and Nathan had beautiful roses waiting for me along with another cute card (he left one for me in the morning too). We went to our traditionaly Valentine's dinner place, chinese food at Jade Island, it was so delicious and Nathan didn't get sick from it!!!

Last night we had our annual association meeting, I am no longer on the board. I was surprisingly kind of bummed, but it'll be better to have someone new, I'm hoping the new people have more experience and know what they're doing a little better than I did… I spent an hour before the meeting out in the freezing cold getting proxy's to make sure we'd have enough people in attendance for the meeting to count. Thanks to me, we did!!! I got 16 proxy's…

Tonight Nathan is making us dinner and we're going to go to a movie. We ended up not seeing Music amp; Lyrics on Wednesday, so we are going tonight.

Tomorrow Nathan is working again, his company is doing a big production push so he gets extra money for every Saturday he works. He wants to buy a handgun so he'll use the extra for that

Also, tomorrow is Samantha's 14th birthday!!! We are going to dinner over at my mom's house to celebrate.

Sunday we are going to the gun show, Nathan is uber excited. We invited a few friends to join us but none can make it so it will be just us.
